Silly afternoons...

Lately Ive had the chance to spend a lot of time with my cutest niece and nephew and they are the silliest kiddos around! Jayden is at such a fun stage right now all he does it make me laugh nonstop and Mayci is such a girly girly its adoreable! On tuesday I got to babysit them for about 4 and a half hours without any help from Nonna and it was such a fun morning, we chased eachother all over the house, colored, ate yummy pancakes, played hide and seek, and got some electronic time in on the Ipad and computer!
This little man LOVES marshmellows and shoved a big one in his mouth while running around chasing me and sister! I of course was freaking out he was going to choke on it or something and this picture is me fighting him to spit it out while he is giggling and biting down on it to not let it go!
 Loved finding my sunglasses
Then sister needed a turn too!
This moment in my babysitting career made me appreciate all mom's with more than one child! So I was playing with J while he was being difficult and trying to occupy him when I realized I hadnt seen Mayc for a minute...well I start searching the house for her thinking maybe she just is playing tricks on me and hiding...I walk upstairs and down the hall and smell some strong perfume...I walk into my mom's room and Mayci is up on the bathroom counter applying all this gorgeous makeup and spraying herself with lotion and perfume! I couldnt do anything but bust up and laugh at her and the situation...keeping track of two curious kiddos is a lot of work...anyways shortly after that Nonna showed up with lunch and saved the afternoon!

Saying Goodbye...Saying Hello

Saturday afternoon was an eventful day for me! I have been really wanting an SUV for the last year or so and completely have had my heart set on a Honda Element! Last week we went and took one for a test drive because I had never actually driven one and then it was all over with! I was 100% in love! I went home and planned on saving for the next few months and getting one when I graduate nursing school but Saturday morning I woke up and my dad was like well you want one lets go get one! The financing was a great deal through the month of February and this is the last year Honda is making the Element so before my choices dwindled we decided now was a good time to buy! I was so excited to finally be getting one and it was exactly what I wanted...but then I had to say goodbye to Betsy and that was a sad moment!
Betsy all cleaned up and looking pretty!
Saying goodbye and giving Bets one last love!
I have had some really great moments over the last 6 years with Betsy! Betsy was my first brand new car and only had 5 miles on her the day I drove her off the car lot! She took me on my very first roadtrip with friends to Cheyenne Wy for Frontier Days Concerts...she drove me faithfully to the U of U for 4 years with no trouble...expect for that one moment when she lost control on a snowy winter day and we slammed into a curb on 13th East...Betsy blasted my favorite songs on tough days....and we rolled around the valley with the windows down on nice summer nights! We traveled from the southern Utah desert to the high Wasatch mountains to Bear Lake and down to Las Vegas and up to Yellowstone! I will always have a special place in my heart for her and I hope she goes to a great home and is taken care of and loved the way she should be!
Now Meet Billy!
Isnt she beautiful!?
I cant wait to travel the country and go on great big adventures with her! I have a lot in store for us!

I am such a happy girl rolling around in my brand new wheels! :)

Healthy Heart Health Fair

On Saturday I had the opportunity to participate in the Healthy Heart Health Fair at Intermountain Medical Center! For my community nursing class we have to do so many hours in the community and so the chance came up to spend 5 hours here! It was so much fun and insanely busy! We were assigned to sit at a body fat percentage table so people would come over and we would enter their information and be able to tell them their amount of body fat in about 1 minute! It was crazy to see how many people were not in the healthy range of body fat percentage and how unhealthy our society is becoming!
8am Saturday morning dressed in our cute red shirts and ready to go!
 Three cute blondies!
I had to take a picture of this man and Kristen...Kristen and I were sitting at the table and he walks over telling us how many sit ups he does a day and how often he takes 5 dogs for walks and how he eats so well and then we do his body fat percentage and it was 49%...I seriously was dying on the inside and Kristen was so good to just sit there and listen to him talk! It was a memorable moment!

All Star Lanes!

All star lanes is a favorite spot when we have a lot of kids around to entertain! Mandi was watching her niece and nephews for the weekend so we all got together for a few games of bowling! The kids had a blast bowling and then playing in the arcade afterwards!
